Dr. Susan Mangiero, CFA, FRM presented at the Pension Plan De-Risking Summit in New York City on November 9, 2009. Her speech, entitled “The Financial Crisis And The New Paradigm for Pension Plan Risk Management: How Can We Avoid Being Here Again?” focused on investment best practices.
Dr. Susan Mangiero spoke on September 17, 2009 as part of a panel entitled "Avoiding Major Trouble: Why Private Equity Firms Must Spend More Time on Ethics." Part of the Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst Conference 2009, this session was one of several events geared to strident calls for enhanced transparency, avoidance of conflicts of interest and a better understanding of responsible investment actions. Dr. Mangiero was joined by Barry Gonder (General Partner, Grove Street Advisors), Pascal Levensohn (Founder & Managing Partner, Levensohn Venture Partners), James Rubin(Senior Partner, BC Partners) and Mr. David G. Barry (Managing Editor - Financial Information Services, Dow Jones & Company).
